The Nissan Rogue had its last complete redesign in 2021. Since then, it has received plenty of updates, including an all-new turbocharged 1.5-liter engine and an Amazon Alexa voice recognition system. Just last year, the SL and Platinum models became equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen powered by a Google Built-in operating system featuring on-board Google Maps, access to other Google apps, and wireless smartphone integration. The 2025 Rogue has more changes in store, and Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia is here to tell you what they are.

The biggest news for Nissan’s best-selling model is the addition of the Rock Creek trim level. Like the Rock Creek version of the larger Pathfinder, the Rock Creek features standard all-wheel drive and Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. The Rock Creek has a much more rugged appearance with a unique gloss black front grille with three upper silver accents that pay homage to the iconic Hardbody pickup truck from which came the first Pathfinder, Nissan’s first SUV in the U.S. Rock Creek models use Lava Red as a signature trim color, which you can find on both the model’s exterior and interior. At the very top is a robust tubular roof rack with a 220-pound capacity. It is the most off-road-focused Rogue in the model line’s history.

The second most significant new feature for the 2025 Rogue is all about being on-road and having help staying there. Available in SL and Platinum grades is Nissan’s ProPilot Assist 2.1. This semi-autonomous driving system enables you to drive hands- and feet-free on pre-mapped highways. The system is integrated with the built-in Google Maps app so the vehicle knows where it is and what is coming. You can’t set it and take a snooze, but the system can make long-distance driving more relaxing and less monotonous.

For 2025, the SL and Platinum trims have an upgraded standard 360-degree camera system with a 3D view that allows the driver to rotate the vehicle on-screen for better sightlines around nearby obstacles. The available Technology Package expands on the system with a wide-angle forward view for peeking around obstacles like parked cars when you have backed into a spot. The system also has “Invisible Hood View,” which displays what is directly under the front of the Rogue, enabling the driver to precisely position the Rogue to avoid obstacles like logs or large rocks on an unpaved trail.

The Rogue keeps getting better and better. If you haven’t checked out a 2025 Rogue, it is time you pay a visit to Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia and give one a test drive. It is in the best-selling vehicle category in the U.S. Even if you aren’t in the market for a compact crossover like the Rogue, you probably know someone who is.
