Customer Testimonials

The best place in customer service in the world Mike was awesome if you wanna buy a new car that’s the place to

Every thing went smoothly when I bought my new 2025 Frontier SL . I went back Thursday to get the step rails put on that was great also.

Third time using this dealer and it have been flawless. The dealership waiting area is clean and everyone is polite. Work requested has been great and the technicians make you aware upcoming needed repairs.

Service staff is very competent. They are knowledgeable and provide options for the cost of repairs. Mark is great.

My third visit rendered the same results and I love this Nissan service dept. I moved to SC over a year ago and have visited two other stores in the state and this one is by far the best. They communicate sooo well.

Great place to have your car serviced. Friendly people and a comfortable waiting area. Snacks for free.

I had the transmission replaced on my 2013 Nissan Versa at Dick Smith on 3670 Fernandina Road recently and had a bad experience. Justin Musser quoted me a price of $6200 total ($4200 transmission, $2000 labor). It was not until I called another auto company that I got a significantly lower price $5610.99 ($3601.58 transmission, $1381.21) that Justin agreed to give me the lower price when he should have tried to give me the best price as the customer in the beginning. I felt that the price Justin had quoted me was an example of price gouging. He also requested that I pay half down to start on ...

Prompt and considerate of my time. I 9nly needed service on my rogue but will definetly return if I need work done. I liked the online appointment and appreciate that they were ready for me to drop off my car.

Great staff. I was traveling through Yesterday afternoon and experienced a problem with my Pathfinder. Panic was an understatement. I arrived, was greeted with a smile and assured my problem would be determined quickly. I was back on the road within thirty minutes and would recommend this dealership to all.

Worst dealership to associate yourself with if you are a minority or veteran. Bad attitude and are racist.

Well I took my 2017 Frenter in Saturday to check on a recall the truck ran perfectly .. wile driving on Sunday my check Engine light can on ..... coincidence I don't think so you decide

This location dealership have a outstanding vehicle service especially two people I like recommend are Mark Didyoung and Ricardo Simons. Both of them are doing excellent service and patiently to explain the problem to me I am very satisfied and grateful.

I purchased a used Honda at this dealership and was very happy with the overall experience. Renee was a warm and friendly sales person, and patient while my daughter and I took the vehicle for two rest drives. Renee and her manager (Harry) answered all our questions and also replaced a weak battery following inspection. Since our purchase was made just before closing, they arranged to detail the car and deliver it to my house (2 hours away) the following morning. I could not be happier with the customer service.

Good morning I would like to say how it was a great experience buying a new used car. The dealership and overall experience was the best. Joseph was an excellent salesman and so was the other people who helped me out. Thanks for everything you do.

I just purchased my 2015 Nissan Sentra in November. In February, the passenger airbag sensor was not working. We took it to Auto Pros (where we purchased the vehicle) and they suggested we take it to a Nissan dealership, because they didn't have the part handy to fix the problem. We took our vehicle to this Nissan dealership, and they charged us $100 just to look at the car, and another $300 to fix the sensor. There had been a 'OCS Customer Service Initiative' for this specific problem, and when I contacted corporate about why I was charged when it should've ...

Andy Vacha did a great job getting me into a great deal. Have been a long time customer and went above and beyond to help me out

I want to give a commendable praise to the guys in the service dept. I bought my car there a yr. later brought it in for service it was returned to me w/scratches on the trunk. The manager Scott went far and beyond to make sure the car was repainted and back looking like the brand new car it once was! Kuto's to Scott & ALL the guys in the service department at Duck Smith Nissian on Two Notch Rd.

We can not be happier with our new Nissan Rogue, I was looking for certain auto they got it for me I also wanted to purchase it fast with no if and or buts and they did it Looked at the Rogue online and talked on phone with dealer about 20 mins. next day at dealer made my trade in signed a check and paper work and out of dealership under 1 hour They could not done it any better future purchase will be DICK SMITH NISSAN COLUMBIA SC Thank you Bobby & Bozena Overstreet

Was working with another Nissan dealership in Florence, SC and the agreed upon car that was shipped was damaged during transport. The only options given by the manager was to take another color or pay an additional 1000 dollars to have another shipped in the color I wanted. (they were willing to cut the shipping cost to 500 but I said no). I was not going to pay more to get the car we agreed I would be getting. So I told them I will take a higher end model for a discount. They gave me a quote and I told him ...

Very professional and friendly staff. Have all my services work done with them... I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue all the service technician I've worked with having been very helpful...

I purchased a 2014 Nissan Altima from their St Andrews location and the screw on the brake light that is located on my rear spoiler came out. I got my car serviced 3 previous occasions and told them about the missing screw and they said its a simple fix, and they can take care of it while they were performing the oil change, Screw still missing. So I actually called up there in regards to them not fixing it and they say bring it back, so I do that and they say it will cost me over $100 to replace the screw because ...

I always trust my car repairs to Ricardo Simmons. He always make sure my repairs are done right the first time. I recently purchased a vehicle from Dick Smith Nissan. Greg Blanks was superb. He listened to what I was looking for and the price range I needed. Greg went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Kent did an INCREDIBLE job with the financing part of my deal. I tell friends and family and total strangers if they are looking for a quality car, great prices, affordable financing look no further than Dick Smith Nissan on Two Notch Rd.

These guys are the absolute best around for all kinds of vehicles. They'll get to the very bottom of what's going on with your vehicle.

Looked at new truck, email salesman to see what kind of deal they could do on my trade in that I had purchased from them. The next thing I get is emails from the credit bureau that my credit was being checked. Called salesman and he was running by credit on a another truck that I had not seen and had not heard about any figures on a deal. The salesman told me to come to the dealership to see the vehicle that he had sent out to numerous financial companies, when I got there the vehicle he was trying ...

I went to Dick Smith Nissan on Two Notch Road (where I had purchased my vehicle) to get an oil and filter change and tire rotation. After waiting three hours for the service (which they indicated would only take two), I was informed that they do not accept discount coupons from AAA. They begrudgingly accepted my coupon but indicated that they cannot do it again (which, to my recollection, they had accepted my AAA coupons in the past). As I indicated to the manager, if it wasn't for the coupon, I would not have had my vehicle serviced there. ...

Before I took my car in for a recall and to scan computer/ECU I had a mobile mechanic to scan it for FREE. The only code on screen was an IAC Valve. I also spoke to a guy at dealer days before I brought my car in that told me he would charge $90. So I decided to let dealer do recall (free) and scan (was $90 on phone $123.81 in office) They stated that they could not scan car for codes because of an unexplained issue with the ECU. They also stated that they checked the transmission and it needed to ...

The whole process took about 8 hours to find the car and then sign a mountain of paperwork. Then you are sent over to the financing department where you are persuaded to purchase extended warranty and gap insurance since the warranty has added $1500 to $1800 to the price. My wife and I purchased a used 2011 Nissan Maxima on Friday September the 4th and drove it home since the service department employees had left for the day. I was supposed to take it back on Saturday for servic department to make another key. Well, the car was dropped off at 11:30 am and at 3:30 ...

These people are completely clueless!! Please stay away from them. I've never in my life had such a bad experience at a Nissan dealership. My teenage son has more knowledge of what's wrong with a vehicle than this entire service staff. I wouldn't take a rock to them for service or fixing. They should be put completely out of business. The only thing keeping me with Nissan is I've owned them for 15 years now and know that they are great cars. Nevertheless, the workers in this service department are as clueless as they come. I should ...

I regret buying a car from here. I've had my car for a year now, and every time I get in it, I wish I would have never bought it. As a first time car buyer (young and naïve), this dealership made sure to take full advantage of that. The sales rep was rude, the experience was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. But as any young and naïve person, I found the car of my dreams (so I thought) so it didn't matter. I found a car that was the color ...

I have been having trouble with the fuel gauge & mileage out of my 2012 Nissan Rogue. According to Mark, the cluster which is the sending unit and sensor has been fixed twice by the same mechanic. Really & it's still messing up ? I then take my car for the recommended 30000 service, since then, my gas mileage has been less per fill up. Jud Smith said my car was road tested & should get 418 per fill up because it has an 15.8 tank with 26mpg & that he was embarrassed that he had to go show the service dept about my ...

Dropped my vehicle off at 9am on 7/17/14 to get them to see why when I accelerate on the highway the car would get stuck in between 2/3 rpm's and not go faster than 60mph. Didn't hear anything from them so I called to get an update around 2pm. Mark who was the service person tole me they were still checking it out and they would need to take it out one more time once it got warmer. I told him ok and while the vehicle was there go ahead and do the oil change. The mileage on my car ...

Everything seemed to be going fine with my used car purchase. I found a suitable car, verified the car's value, and made an offer. After a little haggling Mr. Jeter and I agreed upon a price. I was ready to make the purchase so I contacted my bank and they phoned Mr. Jeter and requested the necessary information about the car. Things were great until I received a call from my bank. They informed me that Mr. Jeter had increased the price that had been agreed upon. He increased the total price of the car by nearly 10%. After that, ...

I had very specific hard to find expectations of a used vehicle when I walked into the dealership. After JJ showed us around got to know us better, we ended up leasing. I've never leased before but JJ and the finance guy and the sales manager all helped in explaining the process. It was in our monthly budget and the quality of vehicle we were looking for too! The guys really took their time with us to make me feel comfortable with the sale. Thanks guys! I know we weren't easy. 🙂

My 2002 Nissan Altima, 128K miles, broke down north of Columbia and showed all the signs of a bad head gasket. Not living in the area, I was at the mercy of having it towed and chose the closest Nissan dealership, thinking they would have the parts and expertise to fix my car. I explained all my vehicle's extensive preventative maintenance to James at the service center. The service center mechanics ran a compression test and from that alone determined the only fix was to put in a refurbished engine for $5,600 (more than the KBB of the car itself). When ...

My father in law purchased a 2004 Mazda MPV from Dick Smith. He purchased the extended warranty and it's a good thing he did. The brakes failed and he almost wrecked at high speed on the highway. Luckily he's ok and had it towed to Dick Smith Nissan on Two Notch Road to have it repaired due to the warranty. This was New Year's Day. They kept the vehicle for nearly 3 weeks while diagnosing the issue. It was decided to be a master cylinder. They replaced it and then told him that he needed all new brake pads ...

I had previously scheduled for Dick Smith Ford to remove my radio/cd player for me to personally ship it to be repaired to Richmond, VA. Dick Smith Ford did their part in removing and re-installing the radio without any problems. However, the company that repaired the radio/cd player failed to tell me that they had a bracket on the radio/cd player that needed to be removed before re-installing the unit. Joey Hingle had the person that re-installed the radio to talk with the technician in Richmond that repaired the unit and figured out the problem. This kept ...

THE WORST AUTO SALES SCAMMERS I am an actual shopper who purchased a Nissan Pathfinder from Dick Smith. Here are some words of warning. If you have poor to moderate credit, DO NOT finance through these guys. They use every trick in he book. Especially watch out for a sales associate named David (or any of them). I financed through these guys and three days later, they call me up saying "Your financing feel through." (Financing can be verified in less than 15 min.) I came back in to discover that it was four points higher. Also, do not ...
