2025 Nissan GT-R

Performance

Each 2025 GT-R is powered by a hand-built 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6. It yields 565 horsepower with 467 pound-feet of torque. Only five Takumi master craftsmen build this engine. Your engine builder puts their name on the plaque on the engine.  

NISMO models get a higher-performance version of this engine. Rated at 600 horsepower, it offers an extra performance edge over standard 2025 GT-R models. 

Power is channeled through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, sending power to all four wheels. The ATTESA ET-S drive system is designed to maximize grip on dry pavement and in many other conditions and situations your 2025 GT-R may encounter. For quicker shifts, put the 2025 GT-R in R mode and engage the paddles behind the steering wheel for fine-tuned performance. There are three drive modes, including R mode, to further fine-tune your drive. These settings adjust the parameters for the transmission, suspension, and the Vehicle Dynamic Control System.   

The Bilstein DampTronic suspension system keeps the 2025 GT-R on the ground. It is tied to an independent double-wishbone front and a multi-link rear independent set-up, adding coil-overs to the shock absorbers at all four wheels. Tied into the drive mode system, the dampers adjust to the condition, road surface, and performance level you want to achieve. NISMO models add further tuning to this system for more track-inspired performance.  

Stopping power comes from the Nissan/Brembo braking system. Its large rotors, six-piston calipers, and four-piston rear calipers keep this car in control in all situations. T-Spec and NISMO models add carbon-ceramic rotors to the system.

Exterior

Aerodynamics keep the 2025 GT-R flowing through turbulence. The integrated front clip has a splitter that forces air into the lower grille. Lower-side molding integrates into an airflow buffer. At the rear, a spoiler designed to let the air flow for added downforce and control. The rear splitter includes four large exhaust ports emitting the sound of fury.  

NISMO models have more aggressive aerodynamics all around. A larger rear carbon fiber wing adds more downforce for better dynamic performance. The NISMO model also adds carbon fiber elements in the grille, hood, roof, and rear clip, all inducing the spirit of motorsports.  

The 2025 GT-R rides on 20-inch run-flat YR-rated performance tires mounted on RAYS forged alloy wheels. T-Spec and NISMO models offer specific finishes to these wheels. NISMO models wear performance tires with a specific compound for this model. 

Interior

The 2025 GT-R is designed with the driver in mind. Its cockpit features an analog instrument cluster. You are surrounded by tactile controls on the steering wheel, around the center touchscreen, and on the center console, all of which work exactly the way you want them to.  

The seating is for four, wrapped in standard leather with simulated suede. T-Spec models add semi-aniline leather for a sportier feel. NISMO models offer the front occupants a pair of RECARO leather seats. Standard is a leather-wrapped steering wheel, with simulated suede for the T-Spec and NISMO models. Both front seats are heated, as well.  

The 2025 GT-R can carry up to 8.8 cubic feet of luggage in the trunk. It is also power-operated from the key fob.

Technology

Front and center is an 8-inch Multi-Function Display. It features various screens tracking vehicle performance. Screens include information on engine performance, chassis dynamics, lateral acceleration, a stopwatch with lap timing, and temperature and pressure. These readouts were created in collaboration with Polyphony Digital, the makers of the Gran Turismo electronic game series. 

The same screen also houses the functions for NissanConnect services, navigation, and Apple CarPlay integration. NissanConnect also includes additional services through SiriusXM, including Traffic and Travel Link. The latter provides information on weather, fuel prices, movie listings, stock info, and sports. 

An 11-speaker Bose Premium audio system with Active Noise Cancelling adds a soundtrack to the one outside at the back of your 2025 GT-R.

Safety and Driver Assistance

To control this high-performance machine, the 2025 GT-R is designed to keep you safe at every turn. You have ten airbags to protect you from front and side impacts.  

An Emergency SOS alert system is part of NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM. Also part of this suite is a Vehicle Tracker that connects you with the location status of your 2025 GT-R.
