What are the differences between the 2024 and 2025 Armada?Â
Come from a lineage of large SUVs that have been popular all over the world, the 2024 and 2025 Armadas have many similarities; The exterior dimensions are practically the same. Upon close inspection, however, you will find some notable design differences in the wider 2025 model, including a new lightning signature both front and back, sharper lines, and bolder grilles.Â
Underneath the hood, the V-8 of the 2024 model will give way to the twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6 engine of the 2025 model. The new engine serves up an increase in performance with 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque—this engine will take you places with authority. Power from this engine is channeled through a nine-speed automatic transmission.  Â
Both the 2024 and 2025 Armada share the same maximum tow ratings of up to 8,500 pounds. PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve grades also add both an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller and standard Trailer Blind Spot Monitoring. Â
Compared to the 2024 model, there is now more space inside the 2025 Armada. There is now 24 percent more cargo space behind the third row of seats—20.4 cubic-feet, to be exact. With the second- and third-row seats down, that space increases to a total of 97.1 cubic-feet of cargo space. Third-row room has been increased, as well.  Â
You will be treated to more features on the 2025 Armada compared to the 2024 model. The new model will feature available massaging front seats, along with available 64-color ambient lighting. A new digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen will measure out to 12.3 inches each. When you get into the PRO-4X, Platinum, and Platinum Reserve grades, those screens are increased to 14.3 inches each. The infotainment system is now driven by Google built-in, which enables Google’s apps—such as Google Maps and Google Assistant—to be used without connecting to your smartphone. To top it all off, you can equip your 2025 Armada with the class-exclusive available 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio System. All of which are new to the Armada lineup. Â
The 2025 Armada is now available with ProPILOT Assist 2.1. This is Nissan’s hands-off driver assistance technology made for effortless freeway driving. In addition, Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on all 2025 Armada models. Â
Also found on the 2025 Armada is a set of advanced camera technologies to help you see virtually around walls and even through objects. The list of available camera technologies includes 3D Around View Monitor, Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View. The latter view is extremely helpful when placing the vehicle’s wheels off-roading, entering car wash tracks, or just navigating a tight drive-through lane. Â
The main attraction of the 2025 Armada is the new PRO-4X model. The PRO-4X will feature all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle of 33.0 degrees, underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential, and Adaptive Air Suspension. With a ground clearance of 9.6 inches, the 2025 Armada PRO-4X is set to conquer the rougher roads and trails of our great state.  Â
