​​J.D. Power Impressed by the New 2025 Nissan Murano​

It is clear that the response to the 2025 Nissan Murano has been extremely positive. This two-row SUV continues to deliver a premium experience at a better price than its rivals.  

J.D. Power agrees. They said, “[w]ith significant upgrades in its powertrain, technology, and features, as well as its comfortable, roomy cabin, the new fourth-generation Murano has much to offer in the five-passenger crossover market.”  

J.D. Power’s first point was on the 2025 Murano’s new powertrain. It is now powered by the Variable-Compression turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, which puts down 241 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, either driving the front wheels or our all-wheel drive system. In all, there’s plenty of technology making the Murano more efficient than ever, thanks to the Variable-Compression system. The 2025 Murano can earn up to 27 MPG on the highway, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. 

Coupled with a more efficient driveline are associated technologies that add more engagement to the 2025 Murano.  For example, the advanced ProPILOT Assist is standard on the SV trim. This combines Intelligent Cruise Control with Steering Assist. If you step up to the SL and Platinum grades, you will be upgraded to ProPILOT Assist 1.1. This alone will enhance the system’s capability by using navigation data to proactively adjust speed ahead of curves based on the vehicle’s planned route data.  

The 2025 Murano also features the standard dual 12.3-inch displays housed behind Murano Glass. It incorporates color-shift graphics and textures that play with light. Nissan Connect serves as a hub for a host of wireless connectivity options through your smartphone. In addition, the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View are available. These two views inside the infotainment touchscreen help avoid hazards unseen in previous camera systems and ensure your parking skills are near perfect.
