January 17th, 2024 by

The Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover SUV. With seating for up to five, this compact SUV offers drivers and owners a little bit of luxury for less than luxury price. All-wheel drive manages to get you in and out of less-than-ideal road and off-road conditions. The new Rogue also has lots of other very nice features that drivers from Columbia, SC will be interested in.

Great Gas Mileage and Performance

With its 1.5L, DOHC 12-valve variable compression turbo engine, the Rogue has incredible gas mileage. The new Nissan Rogue earns 30 miles to the gallon in the city and 37 miles to the gallon on the highway. It produces 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It is one powerful, money-saving vehicle in a compact SUV body.

Five Different Trim Levels

The Rogue offers consumers five distinct trim levels, including the unique Midnight Edition and the Platinum level. The price for front-wheel drive base model starts at around $27,000. If you want AWD, the base model will cost you an additional $2,000. The Platinum edition runs about $39,000, fully equipped and with AWD. The Midnight edition has black painted features, including metal alloy rims, front grill, and front and rear bumper.

Storage and Tie-Downs

Traveling sometimes requires securing objects larger than the vehicle or finding room to store more stuff. The “cargo variable” area in the back of the Rogue accommodates plenty of luggage and items you may need on your trip. The four tie-down hooks help you secure outdoor equipment. Now, you don’t have to concern yourself with forcing it all to fit or figuring out if you need to leave some things behind.

Safety and Technology Are Impressive

More and more new vehicles are including wraparound airbags as standard. While it is unlikely that the Rogue will roll, you can take comfort in knowing that the airbags provide a lot of cushioning in an accident. An 8-inch touchscreen display is right on the dash of all models except for the Platinum, which has a 12.3-inch touchscreen. In the Midnight model and the SL, you can opt for the 9-inch screen to be installed instead of the 8-inch screen.
