The Glorious 2025 Nissan Murano, Traveling To Its Glorious Destiny

All of us at Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia anxiously anticipate the arrival of any new or redesigned Nissan model. It turns out that it is not just us. Named on Newsweek America’s Most Anticipated New Vehicles 2025 list are the all-new 2025 Nissan Murano and the similarly redesigned 2025 Nissan Armada.

The Tough And Sturdy Nissan Armada, Parked In A Stunning Wilderness

2025 Armada Features Added Strength in Body and Powertrain

The all-new 2025 Nissan Armada is redesigned from top to bottom, inside and out. This flagship for the Nissan product line advances in capability and technology and serves as a showcase for Nissan craftsmanship.

The new model is more substantial, with a new body structure that features 25% greater torsional rigidity and 57% increased lateral stiffness compared to the previous model. This results in an improved ride and better sound insulation.

Under the hood is a twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V6. It produces 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 25 horsepower and 103 lb-ft compared to the V8 in the outgoing Armada. The engine is paired with a new 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, which adds two more ratios and a 40% greater gear ratio range for improved acceleration and cruising efficiency. Regarding cruising, the Armada will be available with Pro-Pilot Assist 2.1, which provides true hands-free driving on pre-mapped highways across the U.S.

Inside, the new cabin is available with dual 14.3-inch displays backed by the Google Built-in operating system, as well as an available 12-speaker Klipsch® Premium Audio System.

The Silver Side Profile OF The 2025 Nissan Armada Driving Towards Its Glorious Destiny

Introducing the Armada Pro-4X

Added to the Armada model line is the first-ever Armada Pro-4X. This off-road-focused model includes Intelligent 4WD, an electronic locking rear differential, and eight selectable drive modes (Standard, Eco, Sport, Tow, Snow, Sand, Rock, Mud/Rut). It rides on an Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension with 20-inch wheels wrapped with all-terrain tires. There is a metal underbody skid plate and a unique front design for an improved approach angle.

The air suspension can raise the Armada Pro-4X 2.1 inches above standard height for a total of 9.6 inches of ground clearance. It also enables approach / breakover / departure angles of 33.0 / 25.5 / 44.5 degrees respectively.

Camera technologies also improve your off-road capability with features like Invisible Hood View, which offers a virtual view “through” the engine bay. Front Wide View provides a wide-angle vantage to the front, and 3D Intelligent Around View® Monitor8 allows the driver to “rotate” the viewing angle on the infotainment display to spot obstacles and hazards from nearly any angle.

The Side Profile Of The Beloved 2025 Nissan Murano

2025 Murano Is an All-New Take on an Established Favorite

The completely new 2025 Nissan Murano is designed to deliver a serene, sanctuary-like experience with modern style and premium features. Featuring Nissan’s energetic elegance design theme, introduced by the ARIYA, the Murano has a sleek, modern exterior with available 21-inch wheels and dramatic full-width LED tail lights. The interior features soft-touch, finely detailed materials throughout, with upscale features including dual 12.3-inch displays and available massaging front seats.

Like the Armada, the 2025 Murano features an HD Enhanced Intelligent Around View® Monitor with Invisible Hood View4. Inside, 64-color ambient lighting and a 10-speaker Bose® sound system are also available.

Also, like the Armada, the Murano’s powertrain loses two cylinders but gains turbocharging. Its 2.0-liter VC-Turbo (Variable-Compression Turbo) engine is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 20 lb-ft compared to the V6 of the outgoing Murano. The engine features an idle-stop-start and is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters to enable driver engagement, particularly for control on mountainous terrain.

The eagerly anticipated Armada is expected to arrive just prior to the end of 2024. The Murano should arrive in the first quarter of 2025. You can ask one of the Dick Smith Nissan of Columbia sales professionals to notify you when the first of each model arrives.
